Common Questions

Flight or gate details look stale

Pull to refresh the board or flight detail screen. Flight details depend on provider availability and may update after airlines or airports publish changes.

Nearby airports are not showing

Make sure location access is enabled for BoardPass in iOS Settings. Location is optional and only used to find nearby airports.

TSA, FAA, or weather data is unavailable

Some airports or time periods may not have current TSA wait, FAA delay, or METAR weather data. BoardPass hides unavailable data instead of guessing.

Ads are not loading

BoardPass is free and supported by Google AdMob banner ads. If an ad cannot load, the app should continue working without blocking flight information.

Data Source Notes

BoardPass displays data from FlightAware AeroAPI, NOAA Aviation Weather Center, the FAA, and the TSA. Availability, timing, gate assignments, baggage claim details, and delay information can vary by airport, airline, and data provider.
